The TCICC Social Work programme is dedicated to educating and training highly skilled, compassionate, and ethical social workers at the associate level. Our goal is to encourage students to address social injustices, advocate for vulnerable populations, and create positive change in their communities. Guided by the motto, “Be prepared to get involved!” the programme emphasises hands on learning, community engagement, and a commitment to social equity.
What to expect
This programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, equipping students with the skills needed to support individuals, families, and communities in overcoming challenges. Through coursework and hands-on learning, you’ll develop a deep understanding of social work principles, ethical practices, and effective intervention strategies, preparing you to address real-world social issues with compassion and professionalism.
Outcomes of the Programme
Graduates will leave the programme ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities, embodying the values of empathy, integrity, and social responsibility. You’ll be equipped to work in entry-level roles within social services, community organisations, or related fields, and will have a strong foundation for further education in social work or related disciplines. This degree prepares you to advocate for vulnerable populations and contribute to positive social change.
