Welcome to the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College (TCICC), the premier tertiary Education Institution in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Established by Ordinance 25 of 1994, the mission of the College is to “provide post-secondary and continuing education for school leavers and adults, in order to promote their personal and professional development, and the social and economic development of the Turks and Caicos Islands.” Offerings a plethora of courses and programmes to achieve its mission, the college is very intentional in its desire to continuously recreate itself by providing cutting edge technologies and strategies, delivered by a cadre of gifted and competent lecturers from the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Caribbean Region, the United Kingdom and the Americas.

The TCICC has a proud history of providing the Turks and Caicos Islands and beyond, with many of its finest graduates, now considered industry leaders in their respective vocations. The motto of the TCICC, DARING TO ASPIRE, DETERMINED TO SUCCEED, beckons and challenges its faculty, staff and students to ‘dare to go beyond what is expected and aspire to explore new frontiers, always with a determination to succeed at whatever you undertake to do’ Those cogent and reflective, intentional words of our motto have motivated both staff and students to understand and accept the immediacy of the transformative power of education, As President of this noble institution, I am committed to fostering a desire for teaching and learning at our institution. I am committed to be innovative with programmes of national interest, while allowing for creativity that meets staff and students’ sensibilities and inclinations through curriculum development, social and cultural activities and the creation of a TCICC culture. I am committed to create a College of excellence, where students learn in a safe and invigorating environment. My staff and I are aspiring to create a ‘fit focus’ at our TCICC, not just because it is a good thing, but because it is the RIGHT thing. We are determined to succeed! A TCICC education must be the desire of every Turks and Caicos Islander – students in our schools as well as adults in our communities. The TCICC was established, by law, in the Turks And Caicos Islands in 1994 with the intent to positively impact the growth and development of our various countries through the providing of quality tertiary and continuing education, to all who seek to pursue personal, educational and intellectual development. Additionally, it provides opportunities for skills training as a part of its mandate to meet the needs of the individual and society.

The college has proven to be productive and effective over its short lifetime, producing alumni that figure prominently in both the Public and Private sector and organizations.

As the college seeks to continue its quest to provide holistic development opportunities to individuals choosing it as a preferred institution, and in keeping with technological development, we have redesigned this website to provide as much information, on continued bases, to all who seek avenues to pursue studies at the TCICC. We offer a variety of programs with well internationally qualified staff. We also have the capacity to design and introduce new programmes, on demand, providing the number of candidates warrant it. Additionally, short courses, workshops and seminars can be customized to meet the needs of organizations and groups of persons.

Greetings! On behalf of the faculty, staff and students at the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College (TCICC), I am immensely pleased to welcome you to our Web site. Established in 1994, TCICC is the first tertiary institution in the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI). The College offers several 2-year and 4-year degree programs.

Our website has been designed as a gateway to the many academic programs the College offers at both the associate and undergraduate levels. These programs will spark your imagination and expand your horizons, while at the same time helping you acquire the skills necessary for success in hundreds of satisfying careers. The website will introduce you to the wealth of services the College staff provide to students, including academic advising.

In my capacity as the Executive Assistant to the President, I provide executive support to the President in a one-on-one working relationship. In this role, I serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external matters pertaining to the Office of the President, relieving the President of operational and administrative details and perform administrative functions that require a thorough knowledge of the College policies, procedures, and operations and an understanding of the College’s role within the community.

The Office of the Registrar provides support to students, faculty, staff, and alumni while being guided by the commitment to be student centered and promote student success. The office directs the recruitment process, maintains student academic records, issues grades and transcripts, monitors compliance with academic standards of progress, reviews degree completion for graduation, issues diplomas, reviews student requests regarding readmission, and other purposes, processes transient student requests, prepares the academic catalog and schedule of classes, and organizes commencement ceremonies. By guiding students through processes such as registration, re-sits, and examinations, the Office of the Registrar helps students develop independence, personal and educational goals, and effective communications.
The Registrar’s Office subscribes to the highest ethical principles of our profession and strives to serve the TCICC with honesty, integrity, and accuracy.

Welcome to the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College.  My role as the Systems Administrator is to manage computer software systems, servers, and network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications. I also participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with college goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.  In addition, I provide training and support to administrative staff, lecturers, and students.

Today the TCICC’s operations are fully computerized and accessed globally through our Cloud-based systems.  These systems include:

  • ISIMS – our college management system used to manage online applications, students’ grades and biodata, request transcript, etc.
  •  Office 365 – All staff, lecturers, and students use this as the main means of communication.
  • Turnitin – plagiarism software used by both lecturers and students.
  • WebEx – meeting software and online synchronous classes.
  • Moodle – TCICC’s own Learning Management System (LMS)
  • ProQuest – Online library
