
Ms Jacqueline Pinder
My name Jacqueline Pinder and I am from the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago where I received my degrees from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. In 2017 I worked as a part-time Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Southern Caribbean.
In 2014 to 2018 I worked as a Guidance Counsellor in the Ministry of Education and in 2019-2014 I worked as an Itinerant Counsellor with Youth Training, Employment Partnership Programme (YTEPP). From 2004 to 2009 I worked in several areas in Social Work – Family Social Worker and School Social Worker, Ministry of Social Development and Ministry of Education, respectively. As a social worker I worked utilizing the various modalities in my field. I represented the Ministry on Television and Radio and had facilitated countless workshops and presentations.
My hubbies include reading and travelling. I enjoy listening to music from different genres. I believe in the balance of work and leisure as a means of maintaining a healthy life style.
I am currently employed at the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College as a Lecturer in Social Work. My teaching philosophy is that everyone can learn given the adequate support and right environmental factors.
