He has approximately 30 years of experience working in education. His experiences as an educator include 16 years at the high school level, 16 years at the tertiary level and three years as a Science Curriculum Specialist. During these years, Mr James has worked in Guyana, the British Virgin Islands and the Turks and Caicos Islands—where he has served in Providenciales, North Caicos and Grand Turk.
Mr James also has working experiences in the fields of Agriculture (Agronomy and Animal Husbandry), Medical Technology and Chemical Laboratory Technology.
He currently possesses the BSc in Biology/Chemistry (minor), DipEd in Science Education, MAEd in Curriculum and Instruction. He is an active outdoor person who still finds time to be involved in a number of sporting activities among which are basketball, swimming, scuba diving, etc. Mr James is also a musician who plays the guitar and piano during services at his church.
