Jason Henry has been at the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College (TCICC) since 2010. Currently, he lectures English, Education, Communication, Research Methods and some Business Studies related courses. Before joining the TCICC, he worked in both public and private educational sectors in Jamaica within capacities of vice principal, lecturer, item-vetting officer, program coordinator of students’ affairs, among other administrative and educational roles.
Mr. Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literatures in English, Post-Graduate Teaching Diploma in Language Education and Master of Arts in Language Education from the University of the West Indies. He is currently pursuing an EdD in Adult Education at Walden University. Mr. Henry has research interests in English as a Second Language (ESL), the role of Caribbean Community Colleges in facilitating Technical, Vocational, Education and Training (TVET) for sustainable development and the use of the performing arts to enact positive social change.
